Terms of service

1. Who we are

Sale Catcher is provided by Star Karabil, Kurfürstenallee 29, 28211 Bremen, Germany (“we”). Contact: support@sale-catcher.com. These terms apply to every use of Sale Catcher.

2. What Sale Catcher does

You add links to product pages of online shops. Once a day, we check the price shown on each page and send you an email when it is lower than before. We are not a shop and not part of any shop; we do not sell products, and the purchase is always between you and the shop.

We do our best to read prices correctly, but shops change their pages, block automated checks or show different prices to different visitors. We therefore cannot guarantee that every price is read correctly or that every price drop is detected. Always check the price in the shop before you buy.

3. Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time sign-in link. You must give an email address that you can receive mail at, and keep access to it private. You may only add links to publicly accessible product pages, and you may not use Sale Catcher in a way that overloads it or the shops it checks.

4. Plans and prices

As a small business under § 19 UStG, we do not charge VAT. The price shown is the final price.

A contract for Premium is concluded when you complete the checkout by clicking the button labelled as a binding order. Payment is processed by Stripe and charged monthly in advance. If a payment fails, Premium is paused: your 3 oldest links continue to be checked and the others are paused, not deleted, until payment succeeds.

5. Term and cancellation

Premium runs for one month and renews automatically for one month at a time. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing month, by clicking “Cancel subscription” in your account, or by email to support@sale-catcher.com. If you reduce your links to 3 or fewer, Premium also ends automatically at the end of the current billing month. You can delete your Free account at any time.

We may end Premium with one month's notice to the end of a billing month. The right of both sides to terminate for good cause remains unaffected.

6. Right of withdrawal for consumers

If you are a consumer, you have the following right of withdrawal.

Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Star Karabil, Kurfürstenallee 29, 28211 Bremen, Germany, email: support@sale-catcher.com, phone: +49 175 8201198) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

7. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep Sale Catcher available at all times, but maintenance, technical problems or problems at our providers can cause interruptions. We may develop the service further, as long as the main features you pay for remain available.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of an essential contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible and on which you may regularly rely), and limited to the damage typically foreseeable when the contract was concluded. Otherwise, our liability is excluded. In particular, we are not liable for a missed or incorrectly reported price, or for purchases you make in a shop.

9. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for valid reasons, for example a change in the law or new features. We will email you about changes at least 6 weeks before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before that date; we will point this out in the email.

10. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country also apply. We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
